Of Christmas stories I read a lot in the period of December because they make it even more special and magical this month!
So true! We are more open to such stories at this particular time of the year! :)
This is such a fun story! Now I really want a gingerbread cookie.
Oh no! Please spare the life of my gingerbread cookie creation! :)
This seems like a really fun little story.. I am curious to see the end of it but i'm not really sure how I would finish it.
Hope you'll enjoy reading the continuation of this story. :)
My end to this story would be that he wished upon the star and became a boy. He then got to be free.
He may become a human ... we will see. ;)
hmmmm i think id want it to end with him rescuing ALL the gingerbread men
But what would we eat at Christmas time? :D
So you would like to know how this story ends? I actually wish the story never began. Not for my sake but for the gingerbread man.
You're right ... this story may not have a happy end for the gingerbread man ... but who knows, maybe he could help his dear ones in need. :)
Oh dear, this story reminds me a lot about Pinocchio and the cat. Maybe letting the story continue will get the Gingerbread man into trouble so let's leave it there for now.
Most possibly he will go through some troubles understanding the real world. :)
Ooh! I am so excited what is the next on the story. And I am willing to wait your next blog!
Hope you won't be disappointed! :)
I don’t know how this story ends but I like to think he just became real and is now a Gumby looking gingerbread guy
That's a thought! A Gumby looking gingerbread guy! :)
I love Christmas stories like this it brings me back to my memory lane. It is our family tradition to gather in our family room by the fireplace drinking hot chocolate ad grandma is reading us a Christmas stories. Happy times indeed!
That's such a great tradition to gather together and listen to Christmas stories! :)
omg I love gingerbread man!! For the story, maybe he met other fellow ginger bread mans and decided to find out a way. Re visit their past and figure out what went wrong... since they make other people happy they make more magical powers and like they all can ask a big wish if they could become human for one day... or can be a talking gingerman
Gingerbread men with magical powers ... that's an awesome thought! :)
His wish was granted. He became a human and went to the bakery. He saw a row of gingerbread men sitting in the window. I'm not exactly sure what happened next but the long and short of it is this. When he was a gingerbread man, he knew the other gingerbread men by name. Now that he was human, he couldn't tell them apart. I feel there's got to be a moral to this but I can't quite figure it out!
That reminds me of real life, when we often don't know the names of our neighbours. :)
Quite a lovely story you have in here. I know the kids would love it. I think I know what will be my subject for my next story telling.
If I ever have kids, I'll definitely read them this story. :)
What a delightful story you got. Pretty simple and fun I guess. The concept is beautiful.
I'm really happy to hear that you appreciate my idea of a Christmas story. :)
I think his wish is granted and he become man. Then he realize that his life is more tragic than a gingerbread man.
You're really close to the truth! :)
Not sure where I would go next. I think he needs to realize the beauty and necessity of being a gingerbread man. Maybe what life would be like for his fellow gingerbread folk without him. Something like It's A Wonderful Life.
I had a chance to watch It's A Wonderful Life for the first time in my life during this Christmas ... it's a really moving story. :)

I love christmas stories! He should become human for one day, then he does a good deed that will in-turn make him human forever.
Oh, he had done a good dead ... but what happened to him after that will be revealed in the second part of this story. :)
What a great story. I really enjoyed reading that... starting my christmas eve well xx Www.ontheothersideofdepression.com
Happy to hear that this story introduced you in a good Christmas mood. :)
This is such a cute story! I wish the Elf on the Shelf was actually a Gingerbread man ... how much cuter would that be?!?!
Elves are not so popular here in Poland, but it sounds like a great idea! :)
This is so interesting to now the next story. I am looking forward to this.
Hope you won't be disappointed! :)
We love stories that start with "once upon a time"! We will stay tuned with the surprise ending.
