Christmas storytelling: A falling star

Passion Piece - Christmas storytelling 2

Once upon a time, there was a gingerbread man who wanted to become a human, the one who created him with such a passion and care.

He seemed to be happy since his face was decorated with a beautiful smile and his little white eyes seemed to be bright and full of joy all the time.

He wanted to shout and to share his feelings with the people who surrounded him, but his voice seemed to be too weak and he felt as if he had been mute since the day he had appeared in this home.

While thinking of the ways how to escape his gingerbread fate, he looked at the window and noticed a falling star in the sky.

He thought it was the last chance for him to make his wish come true and whispered: ‘Please, give me a chance to become a human at least for one day!’

To be continued …

How would you like this story to end? I’m waiting for your ideas!

The best answers will be published on my blog!

See you around!

Yours,

Passion Piece

My end to this story would be that he wished upon the star and became a boy. He then got to be free.

    • Natalia January 19, 2019 Reply

He may become a human ... we will see. ;)

  6. Keshia Richmond December 20, 2018 Reply

So you would like to know how this story ends? I actually wish the story never began. Not for my sake but for the gingerbread man.

    • Natalia January 19, 2019 Reply

You're right ... this story may not have a happy end for the gingerbread man ... but who knows, maybe he could help his dear ones in need. :)

  7. Alvern @ Success Unscrambled December 20, 2018 Reply

Oh dear, this story reminds me a lot about Pinocchio and the cat. Maybe letting the story continue will get the Gingerbread man into trouble so let's leave it there for now.

    • Natalia January 19, 2019 Reply

Most possibly he will go through some troubles understanding the real world. :)

omg I love gingerbread man!! For the story, maybe he met other fellow ginger bread mans and decided to find out a way. Re visit their past and figure out what went wrong... since they make other people happy they make more magical powers and like they all can ask a big wish if they could become human for one day... or can be a talking gingerman

    • Natalia January 19, 2019 Reply

Gingerbread men with magical powers ... that's an awesome thought! :)

His wish was granted. He became a human and went to the bakery. He saw a row of gingerbread men sitting in the window. I'm not exactly sure what happened next but the long and short of it is this. When he was a gingerbread man, he knew the other gingerbread men by name. Now that he was human, he couldn't tell them apart. I feel there's got to be a moral to this but I can't quite figure it out!

    • Natalia January 19, 2019 Reply

That reminds me of real life, when we often don't know the names of our neighbours. :)

Quite a lovely story you have in here. I know the kids would love it. I think I know what will be my subject for my next story telling.

    • Natalia January 19, 2019 Reply

If I ever have kids, I'll definitely read them this story. :)

What a delightful story you got. Pretty simple and fun I guess. The concept is beautiful.

    • Natalia January 19, 2019 Reply

I'm really happy to hear that you appreciate my idea of a Christmas story. :)

  15. Swathi December 22, 2018 Reply

I think his wish is granted and he become man. Then he realize that his life is more tragic than a gingerbread man.

    • Natalia January 19, 2019 Reply

You're really close to the truth! :)

  16. David Elliott December 22, 2018 Reply

Not sure where I would go next. I think he needs to realize the beauty and necessity of being a gingerbread man. Maybe what life would be like for his fellow gingerbread folk without him. Something like It's A Wonderful Life.

    • Natalia January 19, 2019 Reply

I had a chance to watch It's A Wonderful Life for the first time in my life during this Christmas ... it's a really moving story. :)
