Can’t you cook? Preparing a simple menu for a friends’ meeting is an overwhelming experience for you? Don’t worry, you’re not alone! Planning such events gives me sleepless nights, if you know what I mean. I have a great solution for your headache, which means a salad that I will propose to you today – Mexican salad, just ideal for the beginners in the area of cooking!
Ingredients:
- 1 leek (its white and light green part)
- 1 tin of sweetcorn
- 1 tin of pineapple
- 1 tin of red beans
- 1/2 of red pepper
- 200 g of hard cheese
- 3 full spoons of mayonnaise
- salt, pepper, a pinch of hot pepper
- parsley for decoration
Preparation:
Wash the piece of leek you need, then finely chop it. Next, place it on the sieve and pour with the hot boiled water. Drain the leek and tinned sweetcorn. Put all the vegetables in the bowl, add diced pineapple. Place red beans on the sieve and rinse them under the running water, drain and add to the rest of ingredients. Next, add diced pepper and diced hard cheese to the bowl. Add some mayonnaise, salt, pepper and a pinch of hot pepper to taste. Mix everything carefully. The salad can be served with some parsley on the top for decoration. Bon Appetit!
