With passion in your kitchen: a delicate apple cake

Passion Piece - A delicate cake

The COVID-19 pandemic has turned my life upside down, especially when it comes to my working hours, which are not specified well for the time being and consume more time than usual. Such a state of affairs makes it impossible for me to be too active in my kitchen, especially if I want to prepare something extra, like a cake for example. That’s why, in my case, I rely on quick and easy recipes, which are truly difficult to destroy. Today, I’d like to present you a recipe for a delicate apple cake.

Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs
  • 200 g of sugar
  • vanilla sugar
  • 60 ml of oil
  • 150 ml of natural yogurt or kefir
  • 250 g of flour
  • 10 g of baking powder
  • apples
  • cinnamon
  • icing sugar

Preparation:

Cream the eggs with sugar and vanilla sugar to form a homogeneous mass. Next, add some oil still creaming the pastry. Add the remaining ingredients, namely the yogurt, the earlier sieved flour, baking powder and combine everything well. Place the pastry on a baking tin. Put the apples on its surface, you can sprinkle them with some cinnamon, you can additionally sprinkle the fruit with a little bit of sugar. Bake the cake at 180ºC for about 45 minutes. After baking the cake you can decorate it with some icing sugar. Bon Appetit!

See you around!

Yours,

Passion Piece
