Summer is a time during which we should make use of all the goodness offered by Mother Nature as often as it is possible. I also love this season, because this is a moment when I nourish myself more healthily and I’ve got enough time to choose the products which provide my organism with components allowing it to function well. Fruit cocktails are a wonderful refreshment and a great source of vitamins. Today, I’d like to present you a strawberry banana cocktail, which I have found in a cookbook written by Sister Mary.
For one portion:
- 100 gram of strawberries
- ½ of a banana
- 1 cup of natural yogurt
- sugar to taste
Stem the strawberries, next wash them carefully and drain them in the colander. Peel the banana and slice it. Mix the earlier prepared fruit with yogurt. Add some sugar to taste and mix everything well. When the cocktail is ready pour it into a tall glass, you can also decorate it with the remaining fruit. This drink should be consumed just after its preparation or after being chilled in the fridge. Strawberry banana cocktail can be made from frozen fruit, then there’s no need to chill it in the fridge again.
