I have been recently involved in a few projects, my everyday job also forces me to pay more attention to my duties. That’s why, it’s been difficult for me to find enough time to experiment in my kitchen or to prepare complicated meals. Poultry doesn’t belong to my favorite kinds of meat, however, it’s easy to cook. While searching for an ideal recipe for lunch, I came across one describing how to prepare roasted chicken thighs in marinade. I found it in a culinary book written by one of my favorite authors – Nun Mary. How can you prepare such thighs? You’ll find it out below!
- 2 chicken thighs
- half of a lemon
- ½ teaspoon of hot paprika
- ½ teaspoon of sweet paprika
- ½ teaspoon of rosemary ( or thyme)
- ½ cup of stock
- a pinch of salt
- 3 tablespoons of oil
Rinse and dry the thighs. Rub them with the earlier prepared marinade with lemon, seasoning and salt. Next put them in the fridge for 1-3 hours.
Heat one spoon of oil on the frying pan, fry chicken for 5 minutes on both sides. Put the thighs in a casserole dish, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of oil.
Roast everything at 180ºC for 45 minutes. Remember to pour the chicken with gravy from time to time. If it’s necessary, water meat with ½ cup of water or stock. Such a prepared dish can be served with mashed potatoes and favorite salad. Bon Appetit!
See you around!
